Responsibilities
  • To instruct new gym members and provide inductions.
  • To compile personal fitness programmes for gym members when required.
  • To assist with health promotions.
  • To carry out regular maintenance and equipment checks.
  • Run a safe and clean activity, taking care of the resources which are needed to deliver the services on offer.
  • Pitch in as needed to help your centre, your manager, your colleagues.
  • Promote our values and expectations.
  • Plan your activities and deliver a great session to individuals and groups.
  • Support your colleagues.
  • Commit to your own development.
  • Take part in company training programmes.
  • Provide feedback so we can continually improve.
  • Respect the privacy rights of customers and colleagues.
  • Take responsibility for your performance.
  • Take an active interest in the company and your centre.
  • Follow company policies, procedures and systems.
  • Follow the emergency response plan.
Skills, qualities and experience
  • Experience in the fitness industry.
  • Health and Fitness related qualification. Must include a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Health and Safety.
  • Good oral communication and interaction skills.
  • Flexible approach to working hours including days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
