The role

Working closely with the Reception Manager and wider Front Office team, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, friendly and efficient service to every guest, ensuring their stay is memorable from arrival to departure. You'll also:

  • Welcome guests and provide a friendly and professional first impression at all times
  • Handle check ins and check outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservations and billing
  • Respond to guest enquiries, requests and calls promptly and effectively
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services and the local area
  • Ensure all payment processes are handled in line with company procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organised and presentable reception area
  • Communicate effectively with housekeeping and other departments to support guest needs
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and positive manner
  • Some operational duties may include, not limited to, assistance with guest luggage and room drops.

  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships across departments
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using reservation or booking systems
