Job Description
The Opportunity

This is a high impact leadership role at the centre of Lawfront's acquisition and integration strategy. You will take ownership of the group's legal accounting operations, ensuring that every newly acquired firm is seamlessly onboarded into our financial systems, processes, and controls.

You will shape the financial infrastructure that underpins our growth - creating consistency, driving efficiency, and ensuring robust compliance across a multi firm, multi location group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the legal accounts function across all Lawfront firms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the financial integration of newly acquired firms, embedding group standards, systems, and reporting frameworks.
  • Ensure full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules across the group, implementing strong controls and monitoring processes.
  • Drive standardisation of financial procedures to support scalable, sustainable growth.
  • Provide strategic insight and financial leadership to the Group CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Oversee client account management, billing, credit control, and financial reporting across multiple firms.
  • Build strong relationships with Managing Partners and operational leaders to support smooth transitions during acquisitions.
  • Lead on audits, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, accuracy, and forward thinking financial governance.
About You

You will be an experienced legal accounts leader who thrives in environments of change, growth, and transformation. You bring both the technical expertise and the commercial mindset needed to support a fast growing legal group.

  • Significant experience in legal accounts within a law firm or legal group.
  • Deep knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and legal finance compliance.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally across multi site or group structures.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, or large scale operational change.Strong understanding of financial systems, controls, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions focused approach with the confidence to drive group wide improvements.
