Job Description

Elite Talent Hub is a specialist in permanent staffing solutions for clients both nationally and internationally.

On behalf of our client, a well-established, multi-site manufacturing group with operations across Ireland and the UK, we are seeking a Group Head of Information Systems to join their Senior Leadership Team. Following a period of sustained growth and an active acquisition strategy, this is a newly defined, Group-wide leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's IS/IT strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, own and continuously evolve the Group IS/IT strategy, aligned to business priorities and growth plans.
  • Ensure the availability, performance and security of all technology platforms, infrastructure, applications and data environments.
  • Lead cyber security, disaster recovery and business continuity planning across the Group.
  • Provide strategic insight and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team and Board on technology investment, risk and opportunity.
  • Lead and develop internal IS teams, building capability, engagement and succession strength.
  • Own the strategy, governance and ongoing optimisation of the Group's ERP and core enterprise systems.
  • Lead ERP roadmap planning, upgrades and integrations in partnership with Operations, Finance and HR.
  • Lead the IS/IT aspects of acquisition due diligence and post-acquisition integration, including systems assessment, data migration and cyber risk evaluation.
  • Manage relationships with external technology partners, vendors and managed service providers.
  • Ensure disciplined budget management and value realisation from technology spend.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior IS/IT leadership role within a multi-site or complex organisation.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering enterprise-level IS/IT strategies aligned to business objectives.
  • Strong background in infrastructure, applications, cloud solutions and cyber security.
  • Experience leading or sponsoring ERP implementations, upgrades or major system integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, suppliers and technology risk.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience is desirable.

Location: Longford, with regular travel across Group sites in Ireland and the UK.

Salary: €125,000 DOE.
