We are now looking for a commercially minded, profit focused, Fleet Director to join our Senior Leadership team at D M Keith. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our growth journey in the fleet
The roleAs Fleet Director your primary focus will be operational sales performance, fleet strategy and cost control across the business. You will oversee the strategic direction for the Group Fleet division of the company, demonstrating strong analytical skills to support the Board of Directors in robust decision making. You will also be leading a team of 14 staff, plus drivers. You should ensure you maintain our commitment to excellence, supporting your team in providing exceptional customer service and holding an innovative and efficient working environment for all.
Key responsibilities- Managing and optimising our vehicle fleet Group wide in alignment with our growth objectives.
- Developing and implementing fleet management strategies, considering market circumstances, to support our long-term growth plans.
- Building and maintaining a world class fleet team, ensuring performance meets our outstanding standards.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies, and ensuring the Group surpasses all Brand expectations.
- Analysing data to support informed decisions and optimise Group performance.
- Previous demonstrable experience as a Fleet sales leader, in the automotive or logistics industry preferably.
- Have built strong client relationships with a track record of sales success
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with a track record of driving performance.
- Demonstrable industry knowledge, with a keen eye for evolving trends.
