Overview

Role - Group Financial Reporting Manager
Location - Manchester Airport

Salary - Between £65,000 and £75,000 + benefits. The successful candidate will join a fast-growing profitable distribution business, based just outside Manchester Airport on a hybrid working model. The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification and would suit an individual with an accountancy practice background. Experience with an international business and consolidation of accounts is desirable. The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work to tight deadlines is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the audit process
• Responsibility for the statutory financial reporting and consolidation process
• Oversight of the monthly management accounts process
• Stay updated with accounting standards
• Corporate tax computations and filings
• VAT reporting
• Build strong relationships internally with the wider group
• Manage all aspects of company secretarial duties
• Assist with the integration of new acquisitions
• Ad-hoc project work

Qualifications and profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Background in accountancy practice
• Experience with international business and consolidation is desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to meet deadlines

Salary and benefits
