Group Factory Operations Manager / Director Designate

Job Title: Group Factory Operations Manager / Director Designate

Salary: £50-70k basic (depending on experience) + profit share

Responsible for planning, directing and managing daily operational activity, the Operations Manager will work to achieve operating goals and objectives consistent with company objectives. You will evaluate current and proposed systems and procedures, recommend change when necessary and assist in implementing new processes. In a fast paced environment, you will use diverse knowledge and perspectives to coach, mentor and develop staff to meet performance targets.

Operational management requires a methodically minded, professional with sound commercial acumen. You will have demonstrable experience managing and developing a broad, skilled team, shaping and enhancing operational effectiveness to achieve maximum output and profit. Your focus will include disciplinary procedures, employee relations, absence policies, reducing lateness and incentivizing staff where appropriate.

Qualifications and experience: Candidates must have corrugated packaging experience. Experience in managing a production environment, strong leadership skills and a record of achieving operational efficiency are essential.
