Job Description

Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be partnering with a high growth SME in the Dundrum area to appoint a hands on Chief Financial Officer to oversee the finance function and help drive the next phase of growth.

The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team and a close partner to the CEO and PE company, responsible for leading the finance function end-to-end while driving value creation across M&A, integration, and performance improvement.

This role requires a hands-on, commercially minded CFO with proven experience executing and integrating acquisitions in a PE environment, ideally within professional or people-led services businesses.

The Role:
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling aligned to PE investment strategy
  • Prepare and present board materials, KPI reporting, and investor communications
  • Own the financial aspects of acquisitions from target evaluation through integration
  • Lead financial diligence, valuation modelling, and deal structuring in partnership with advisors
  • Lead all aspects of accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and financial reporting
  • Build scalable finance infrastructure, systems, and processes appropriate for a growing platform
  • Oversee any project work and liaise with operational directors
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across the group.
The Person:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA)
  • Prior CFO (or strong number 2 ready step-up) experience in a PE-backed environment
  • Minimum 10 yrs PQE in a busy finance function
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Exceptional excel skills
  • Experience providing actionable business information (Budgets, Forecasts, cashflow, variance analysis and financial models)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
