Drive the Future of Our Bodyshop & SMART Repair Operations

Are you a strategic leader in the automotive repair industry with a track record of driving operational excellence across multiple sites? We are looking for a Group Bodyshop Manager to take full ownership of our bodyshop and SMART repair network across Scotland.

This isn't just about managing repairs; it's about setting the standard for quality, efficiency, and commercial growth. Covering Inveness/Aberdeen/Dundee/Perth/Edinburgh & Stirling, you will lead our teams to deliver industry-leading results while shaping the strategic direction of our SMART repair offering.

The Role: Impact & Influence

Reporting directly to the Divisional Aftersales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our bodyshop operations. You'll be responsible for:

  • Driving the performance of all sites in all areas to consistently meet and exceed targets and budgetary requirements.
  • Overseeing multiple sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality operating standards and repair cycle times.
  • Developing and expanding our mobile and static SMART repair capabilities to maximize revenue.
  • Managing budgets, KPIs, and labour efficiency while optimizing paint and material margins.
  • Leading and mentoring a diverse team of Managers, Technicians, and Estimators, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Leading high-impact projects, from facility upgrades and new technology implementation to building relationships with major insurers and manufacturers.
Who You Are

You are a seasoned professional who understands that a successful bodyshop is a blend of technical precision and commercial savvy.

What you bring to the table:
  • Extensive experience in a Senior or Multi-site Bodyshop leadership role.
  • Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of insurance protocols, manufacturer repair methods, and SMART repair operations.
  • Commercial Acumen: You know your way around a P&L and understand how to drive profitability without compromising on quality.
  • Mobility: Based in (or willing to travel between) Perth, Dundee, Inverness, or Aberdeen.
  • Leadership: While a technical background (Paint/Panel/MET) is a plus, your ability to lead people and manage change is what will set you apart.
Why Join Us?

You will have the autonomy to implement best practices across a significant regional footprint. We offer a supportive executive environment where your ideas for expansion and process improvement won't just be heard-they'll be implemented.
