Group Applications and Data Solutions Manager

Job Title: Group Applications and Data Solutions Manager

Lead the delivery of the Application and Data Solutions strategy to support key global accounts and maximize business growth opportunities.

Key Objectives

• Bridge the gap between teams and third party Front End UI, Application Solutions and ERP providers
• Structure the working model within the client to ensure process innovation, development and solution delivery lead times meet operational, sales and customer needs
• Ensure provision of excellent front line client and business development technical support for key accounts/programs
• Keep abreast of new developments within the field of ERP and data solutions, assess investment/development potentials and communicate to the wider Group
• Work closely with the IT Manager to contribute to decisions regarding solutions architecture
• Technically and commercially support Sales and Operations teams in developing new customer facing products and technical solutions
• Support Operations teams in developing in house solutions to enhance and streamline data, artwork and information flow

Tasks

• Structure the working model within the client's business, agreeing the technical skills and support required for Operations, Templating and Order Processing teams
• Provide technical training support and development to the Sales teams across all applications they use
• Implement a strategy for a dispersed Applications Support Team with key resources in specific regions to enable innovation and development
• Provide solutions development support to Account Managers for new and existing programs/solutions
• Project manage delivery of new programs and solutions with third party providers and in house teams, covering all aspects of data and transaction data set up, structure and transmission
• Provide customer/client focussed trouble shooting service for Data Solution Applications as required
• Ensure a commercial view is taken in regard to Application and Data Solution developments to maintain competitiveness and cost effectiveness
• Lead and manage cross functional project teams for major program re branding, delivering industry leading fast track service demonstrating best practice
• Provide research, innovation and development support for new technologies and processes related to Data Management, ERP and Production Data Solutions
• Keep abreast of competitor activity within Applications and Data Management
