Location: Hybrid (UK-based with occasional international collaboration). Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. Sector: International Online Retail.

The Role

As Group Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across our international entities. You will work closely with senior finance leaders, external auditors, and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of consolidated group financial statements in accordance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes across UK and US entities.
• Support statutory audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting systems, and compliance frameworks.
• Assist in integration of new acquisitions and expansion into new markets.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in group consolidation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Well suited to a first-time mover from practice.
