Grounds Maintenance Operative

Overview

Simple Recruitment has a great opportunity for candidates to join our client based in Radstock as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, this is on a temporary ongoing basis.

Monday to Thursday - 7.30am to 3.30pm
Friday - 7.30am to 3.00pm

Weekly Pay
Holiday Accrual

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Driving to various sites to keep the areas up to a professional standard
• Use of heavy machinery ie: mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters etc.
• Tasks may include trimming, raking and weeding to ensure the upkeep in various areas
• Horticultural knowledge, knowing the gardening basics would be an advantage
• Ensure footpaths and other hard surfaces are in a clean condition
• Providing a service to the public
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• The role requires candidates to hold a full driving licence as you will be driving to various sites across Radstock and the local area.
• You will enjoy working outdoors and be happy to work in any weather conditions.
• You will need to be physically fit, punctual and reliable as you will be working as part of a team.
