Our client is seeking a motivated Trainee Assistant Manager to join a well experience strong team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership skills and progress their career in retail management.
You will work closely with the Site Manager, receiving structured training and hands-on experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy retail and fresh food environment.

Customer Service
Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
Ensure a high-quality fresh food offering in a clean, safe environment
Store Operations
Support the daily running of the store and forecourt
Maintain high standards of merchandising, presentation and hygiene
Ensure operational checklists and company procedures are followed
Team Support
Motivate and support the team, leading by example
Assist with training, development and performance management
Promote a positive, respectful and inclusive workplace
Stock & Performance
Assist with ordering, deliveries and stock control
Help achieve sales targets and margin goals
Minimise waste and prevent stock loss
Health & Safety
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and legislation
Maintain security and safe working practices at all times
Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role
Food safety knowledge (Level 1 & 2 an advantage)
Strong communication and delegation skills
Passionate about retail and delivering excellent customer service
