About the Role

The Graphic production director is responsible for providing a pivotal role within the graphics production facility, acting as the cornerstone of efficient and effective business operations. Charged with overseeing day to day activities to ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently, aligning departmental operational goals with those of the wider operational department's objectives.

Beyond the daily logistics, the role plays a crucial part in strategic planning, working closely with the Graphics, Show ready and features delivery team to develop and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and contribute to the company's growth while maintaining our operational objectives.

What You'll Do
  • Plan and monitor day to day operations to ensure efficient and effective functioning.
  • Supervise and manage staff within the department to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination with the wider operations team.
  • Provide mentoring, development and support within and for your team.
  • Work closely with the Graphics / SR and Feature Delivery director(s) to ensure all print is delivered to site on time and correct first time.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of existing business procedures and implement improvements to optimise productivity.
  • Review current working practices / manning levels & machinery to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Review and provide guidance to the wider team on the best equipment and materials to enhance ESG objectives.
  • Review financial information to make informed decisions and enhance profitability.
  • Develop long term operational strategies and align them with broader business objectives.
  • Set strategic goals and make decisions for operational activities to drive the overall growth and profitability of the company.
  • Establish and maintain metrics and standards to measure the company's overall efficiency and effectiveness.
