Job Description:

At ROOM42 (our in-house production company for 21GRAMS), we seek a passionate individual eager to grow in design and motion-design, who takes pride in their work, loves attention to detail, and enjoys teamwork.

You are a graphic designer who thinks in both still and moving images-someone confident in starting with a blank canvas, crafting layouts, and bringing them to life through animation. You're comfortable with concepting, designing, and animating, with a strong sense of visual storytelling across formats and platforms.

Real Chemistry is looking for a Graphic + Motion Designer to join our growing team!

This role is hybrid, based in any of our UK offices-including London, Manchester, and Edinburgh-depending on team and business needs. Preference is for proximity to Manchester.

What you'll do:

• Concept and design static layouts and animated content- you won't just be handed assets to animate
• Collaborate with creatives and strategists to develop smart, on-brand, scroll-stopping content
• Design for various formats, including social carousels, digital ads, videos, and campaign visuals
• Translate storyboards, illustrations, and brand elements into engaging motion
• Use After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma hands-on
• Manage multiple projects with a solutions-oriented mindset

What you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in motion and graphic design (agency or in-house)
• A portfolio demonstrating self-initiated layout design and animation
• Strong eye for typography, composition, and visual rhythm
• Experience designing for social media and cross-platform adaptation
• Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop (Premiere Pro a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with hybrid/remote collaboration
