Grant Thornton Ignite Work Experience (August 2026) - Glasgow

Program Overview

Ignite is a four day work experience programme designed for S5 or S6 school leavers. Participants will work alongside Audit teams, tackling real projects and gaining a clear understanding of what a career in accountancy looks like.

Programme Dates & Location

• Dates: Monday 3 - Thursday 6 August 2026
• Location: Glasgow office (in person; please ensure the office is within a reasonable commuting distance)

What You'll Do

• Assist with real audit work and observe professional practice
• Participate in focused development sessions to sharpen technical and professional skills
• Engage in team based, hands on activities improving problem solving and collaboration
• Build a professional network by meeting colleagues across the firm

Who We're Looking For

• Students in S5 or S6 (as of September 2026) with an interest in accountancy and business
• No prior work experience required
• Enthusiastic, curious, eager to learn and keen interest in business
• Must be available for the full duration of the programme and willing to attend 100% onsite
