Graduate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant Leeds Secondary School Full-Time, Long-Term Up to £560 per week

Are you a graduate passionate about helping young people communicate with confidence?

If you're looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference in a mainstream secondary school - supporting students with speech, language and communication needs - this could be the perfect start to your career.

The role

We're recruiting a Graduate Speech and Language Teaching Assistant for a mainstream secondary school in Leeds, supporting students aged 11-16 with a range of speech, language and communication needs across the school community.

Working alongside the SENCO, teaching staff and pastoral team, you'll deliver support through 1:1 sessions, small groups and in-class assistance. You'll help implement strategies set out in students' EHCPs and support plans, assist with monitoring progress, and contribute to a positive, communication-friendly environment across the school. You'll build valuable hands-on experience while playing a meaningful role in helping students access the curriculum and develop their confidence.
