To join our expanding software development team, we are looking for a highly skilled and driven software engineer. Together with other developers, you will lead a self directing project team to produce initiatives that enhance our understanding of our vehicle and boost our race performance.

Our HPC infrastructure, data capturing and analysis tools, and Driver in the Loop real time simulator are a few examples of the key initiatives that will improve our current systems and create new capabilities for our teams.

Principal roles and accountability:

• Constructing new features and improving current systems to increase our comprehension of our race car.
• Establishing a solid grasp of our internal customers' demands, offering a flawless client experience, and completing projects to a high standard.
• Create a project architecture that will integrate with our current systems in a sustainable manner.
• Creating automated test plans will guarantee that projects are thoroughly examined before being made public.
• Utilising development approaches and consistently enhancing our software development process.
• Enhancing your technical abilities to meet a range of corporate requirements.
• Supporting a few of our live race events and making sure the team has timely access to the appropriate information to improve our strategic decision making.

In order to succeed, you will need:

A relevant degree in mathematics or computer science, or an equivalent (with a minimum grade of 2.1)

Knowledge of object oriented programming and experience working with code bases, whether on own projects or as part of a placement scheme.

Knowledge of the entire Software Development Lifecycle and development practices.

Enthusiastic in developing software, resolving challenging issues, and ongoing progress.

Excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach.
