Job Description

The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of successful client projects, starting with internal work and shadowing our experienced consultants. You'll begin by building your skills on internal projects and contributing to client deliverables, before moving on to more complex work as your experience grows.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the technical team to understand project requirements and contribute to solution design.
  • Assisting with the creation of high and low-level designs for solutions using technologies such as IBM middleware, APIs, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
  • Supporting the development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions.
  • Writing clean, high-quality code that meets agreed requirements and standards.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Assisting other team members across multiple projects and learning from their expertise.
  • Following best practices, quality standards, and delivery methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Adhering to all project processes and procedures throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Skills & Requirements
We're looking for someone with:

  • A 2:1 or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related degree.
  • Strong programming skills in Java (our primary language) or similar object-oriented languages such as C#, C++, or Python.
  • A good understanding of software development principles and lifecycle.
  • An interest in middleware, APIs, cloud platforms, or automation tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and a logical approach to challenges.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team and a willingness to learn from others.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A keen eager to learn and become the best version of themselves.

Training: On going t raining will be provided for any unfamiliar technologies and techniques.
