Graduate Quality Assurance Technician (BH-4463)

Location Stockport, England Sector Engineering Salary £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 per annum

We are seeking a Graduate Quality Assurance Technicianto join a prestigious engineering client on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain all documents, both physical and electronic, in a systematic and organised manner
• Numbering, registration, distribution and tracking of change control documentation such as Technical Query, Change Request etc.
• Provide an auditable trail of incoming and outgoing documentation for projects using the company procedures and systems
• Quality check documents on formal aspects. (i.e. correct revisioning, title, numbering)
• Receive and issue documents in line with project timescales
• Reviewing/Completing and ensuring timely updating of company production data documentation
• Compilation / Collation of build pack documentation, including release certification for customer release.
• Recording of traceability and completing of checks for accompanying certification to meet customer expectations
• May occasionally assist with physical inspection activities in assembly

Key skills required:

• Degree, HND, HNC in engineering subject
• Graduates will be accepted and also graduates with some work experience will be accepted
• Must be able to obtain security clearance

The following are desirable:

• Experience using ERP or quality management systems.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AQAP quality management standards.
• Understanding of basic quality assurance principles and non-conformance reporting.
