A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Coventry is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or another child focused profession.
Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially while gaining invaluable school based experience.
What's the role?- Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2
- Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Provide one to one and small group support to help pupils reach their full potential
- Assist with literacy, numeracy and intervention
- Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Holds a 2:1 or higher degree in Psychology, Education Studies, English, Maths or a related subject
- Has a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is patient, enthusiastic and adaptable
- Is considering a future career in teaching or a child focused profession
- Experience in working with children desirable
- A welcoming and supportive staff team
- Valuable classroom experience in a primary setting
