This is a hands on role where you'll support children who need extra understanding, patience, and consistency. It's challenging at times, but incredibly rewarding.
Your role- Supporting pupils with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage with learning
- Supporting behaviour in a calm and structured way
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- A graduate with an interest in SEND or child development
- A calm, empathetic, and patient personality
- Someone who can build trust and strong relationships
- Resilience and a willingness to learn
- Perfect stepping stone into psychology or therapy careers
- Builds real world experience with complex needs
- Ongoing training and development available
- Weekly PAYE pay from £14.25 per hour
- Access to specialist SEND training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
