The Role

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) in primary and secondary specialist schools across Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work.

As an LSA, you will play a key role in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons across a range of subjects
• Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who require additional support
• Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

Requirements

• A degree in any subject (2:2 or above preferred)
• A genuine interest in education and working with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Resilience, patience, and a proactive attitudePrevious experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
