Step Into Teaching are looking for graduate learning support assistants for a secondary school in Wednesfield (WV11) offering a full time role starting ASAP for the remainder of this academic year, with the potential to continue in September for the 26/27 academic year.
The role is to support special educational needs students within a mainstream secondary school.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain experience before becoming an educational psychologist/SENCO.

The Opportunity:- Graduate Learning Support Assistant
- Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers
- 1:1 & Small Group work
- Secondary School
- Wednesfield (WV11)
- Full-time role - Monday - Friday
- ASAP start - for remainder of 25/2 academic year (with the potential to continue in September for the 26/27 academic year.)
- £500 - £530 per week - term time only
- Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support in the classroom.
- Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team.
- Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups.
- Planning and resourcing intervention sessions.
- Working alongside other professionals to assess children.
- Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
