Job Description
This Graduate Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development, testing and measurement of advanced power electronic systems. The Graduate Electronics Engineer will support a range of projects involving power conversion technologies and laboratory-based testing. The Graduate Electronics Engineer will work closely with experienced engineers to develop practical engineering skills within a specialist environment.
Responsibilities- Support the testing and evaluation of power electronic systems
- Assist with hardware development and prototype builds
- Perform laboratory measurements and analyse test data
- Support schematic capture and PCB development activities
- Assist with debugging and fault finding on electronic hardware
- Produce technical documentation and test reports
- Work closely with engineers across product development projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- Understanding of analogue and digital electronics
- Interest in power electronics and hardware development
- Experience using laboratory equipment through university projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Keen to develop a hands-on engineering career
- Knowledge of power conversion technologies
- Familiarity with PCB design tools
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink or LTspice
- Exposure to embedded systems or microcontrollers
