An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded and analytical Commercial Coordinator to join a growing and successful business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data, improving commercial performance and working closely with senior stakeholders to support business growth.
This is a varied role combining commercial analysis, finance, logistics coordination and project support. Working closely with senior leadership you'll play a key role in pricing new business opportunities, monitoring profitability, identifying cost-saving initiatives, and supporting the successful delivery of commercial projects across both UK and international markets.
Commercial Coordinator - Job Overview- Support the pricing and commercial evaluation of new business opportunities and existing operations
- Analyse profitability, operating costs, and commercial performance, providing recommendations for improvement
- Prepare commercial reports, financial analysis, and management information to support business decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, hauliers, and other key stakeholders
- Monitor commercial data, pricing, contracts, and operational documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and cost analysis activities
- Coordinate logistics projects and operational activities, ensuring efficient delivery and communication between stakeholders
- Work closely with Finance to reconcile operational costs, invoices, and customer billing
- Support tender submissions, commercial contracts, and new business initiatives
- Assist with ad-hoc commercial projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience within a commercial, finance, operations, logistics, or analytical role
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent financial and analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and data analysis
- Experience of budgeting, forecasting, margin analysis, or profitability reporting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using ERP or finance systems would be advantageous
- Commercially curious, proactive, and eager to contribute to business growth
- £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
