We offer you a unique opportunity to be part of our RME team where you can put into practice all the knowledge you have acquired with your studies and continue learning as part of a team of first-class professionals. During your journey, you will continue learning within a training itinerary focused on developing technical skills and competencies. You will learn to solve technical problems, plan and prioritize tasks, develop analytical and communication skills, and work effectively in a team.
We enable you to develop and apply solid technical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Throughout the program, a mentor from the Automation Engineer Team (AE Team) will support your progress. You will participate in over 300 hours of theoretical and practical training with external providers on topics such as electrical and electronic systems (e.g., EPLAN, panel wiring and assembly), automation and robotics (e.g., PLC programming, Python, and SQL basics), project management, and communication. Upon completion, you will be qualified for an Automation Engineer position within our maintenance teams.
During the apprenticeship, you will work onsite with the AE Team, responsible for control systems and sensors within the building, engaging in activities such as:
- Monitoring, fault finding, and repairing systems to ensure high equipment availability.
- Training technicians on control system fault finding to enhance site knowledge.
- Collaborating within the EU Controls network to monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and provide visualization and troubleshooting support.
- Participating in or leading continuous improvement projects within the EU Controls network.
- Ensuring proper documentation and backup library maintenance in collaboration with IT and engineering teams.
This role involves working in non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends. The position is not remote and is available in Piedmont, Lombardy, and Veneto regions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSYou can join our apprenticeship if you:
- Are between 18 and 29 years old.
- Have or will obtain a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering before the program starts.
- Speak Italian fluently and demonstrate good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Can communicate in English at Level B2 or higher.
- Can understand and follow technical instructions.
- Are passionate about Automation and Engineering and eager to start a career in this field.
- Are motivated, practical, and committed to learning and development.
- Have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Are proactive and open to acquiring new skills.
- Enjoy teamwork and building relationships.
- Experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
- Project management experience.
- Software development experience.
