Calling all aspiring Primary School Teachers!
This exciting role is based within a nurturing primary school in Newcastle, where developing their students and staff is at the heart of what they do.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be providing tailored support to learners with mixed abilities and needs within the classroom. Your support will be crucial for ensuring all students feel inspired, confident and happy, while making sure all elements of the lesson are being understood.
You'll also have the opportunity to do 1:1 and small group sessions with learners outside of the classroom, allowing you to build strong bonds and further support them in their learning journey.
This is a truly wonderful opportunity to make a real impact to children's lives and a perfect way to build your confidence and develop your skills in preparation for any future teacher training you wish to take.

- Work within a nurturing environment alongside experienced staff while being supported throughout by our pre-teacher training programme
- Full time: 35-hour working week, Monday - Friday
- April 2026 - July 2026
- Earn while you learn - £500 - £530 per week (term time only)
- Hold a completed bachelor's degree minimum of 2:2 (or completing in 2025)
- A genuine passion for making a difference to children's lives
- A strong desire to explore teaching and learn as much as possible
- Empathetic individual with great active listening and communication skills
- A good level of Maths and English
- A strong work ethic
