Our Sixth-Form College are offering an unique opportunity for graduates to join their fantastic school in Salford M50.
This is a full-time Graduate Academic Coach role to support the Science department with 1:1, small group support. This will focused on A Level Chemistry. This opportunity is ideal for graduates considering a future career in education or specialist support.
Role Details- Position: Graduate Academic Coach (A Level Chemistry Support)
- Start Date: ASAP- End of July 2027
- Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
- Pay: £500-530 per week (term-time)
- Location: Salford, M50
- Gain meaningful, hands-on classroom experience before teacher training
- Work closely 121 or in small groups
- Develop confidence, resilience and specialist support skills
- Make a real difference in pupils' lives every single day
- Receive mentoring and CPD to support your long-term career progression
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (Chemistry or Sciences preferred) (2:2 or above)
- Show genuine care, patience and enthusiasm for supporting children
- Be confident, creative and proactive in engaging pupils
- Bring a calm, positive and empathetic approach to the classroom
- Commit to the role for the full academic year through July 2027
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider support teams
- Communicate clearly and manage behaviour with consistency and compassion
