Job Description

Modality LLP is alarge-scale provider of Specialist NHS Services, renowned for its innovativeapproach to delivering efficient pathways for patients requiring specialistcare, leading to high quality patient outcomes. We work in partnership with anumber of hospitals across the country to collaboratively redesign outpatientservices with more care being delivered in community settings.

We are looking to expandour specialist team by recruiting GPs with an extended role in the advertisedspeciality.

Main duties of the job

Thepost holder will be required to deliver Speciality clinics independently withinModality LLPs community Service. The postholder will work under thesupervision of the Service Clinical Lead to manage a range of Health conditionswithin the community setting.

We are recruitingcandidates for both employed and contractor positions. Our sessional rate foremployed roles is £10,750 per session, our sessional rate for those wanting towork as contractors will be £400 per session

Modality LLP is a provider of NHS community outpatient services within a number of regions across the UK.

Our service offer and expertise include:

  • Over 15 years of experience of delivering community outpatient services
  • Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
  • A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses and allied health professionals
  • Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
  • Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Qualifications
  • Professional GMC registration and appropriate qualifications.
  • Specialist diploma within specialty area
Knowledge
  • Experience of working within community/secondary care
  • A strong understanding and experience of out of hospital care/community specialist services
  • Experience of working between primary and secondary care settings
Skills
  • Risk management awareness and able to assess clinical risk
  • Able to work effectively in a team, supporting others and challenging colleagues views and attitudes when necessary
  • Able assess a situation, set priorities and problem solve quickly and effectively
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills and experience of using clinical systems such as SYSTMONE
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the service
  • Full driving licence and the ability to travel between service locations.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload with minimal supervision working to tight and often changing timescales
