Brookmill Medical Centre has a great opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist to join the administration team from October 2026.
This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to build their General Practice experience, working as part of a successful practice.
Main duties of the job
Competitive terms and conditions offered with shift pattern:
Working hours are :-
Monday 8.00 - 6.30pm
Tuesday 9.30 - 5.00pm
Friday 9.00 - 6.30pm
Experience of working in a GP surgery preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidates
EMIS, Docman and Accurx
Excellent telephone, communication and IT skills required
Ability to work in a pressurised and fast paced environment
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a well-established team
Ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment is also required.
Flexibility to cover sickness/holidays as and when needed

Person Specification Experience- Working in a health care setting
- Working at pace
- GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths and English

£12.71 to £13.12 an hourdepending on experience
