Job Description
GP Liaison and Data Quality Lead (CHIS IIU)

Closing date: 04 January 2026

Supports the Child Health Information Service Manager and CHIS Senior GP Clinical Advisor to implement the Improving Immunisation Uptake programme by working with partner organisations, stakeholders and the CHIS/IT team.

Undertakes programme, project and operational activities that deliver improvements in immunisation uptake.

Main duties
  • Plan and organise project activities and work streams within timescales and budgets.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing information, updates, advice and support.
  • Implement new ways of working, facilitate collaborative work and manage, develop and influence people and projects.
Job responsibilities
  • Open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Nursing vacancies also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence or an EU licence.
  • Provide evidence of right to work in the UK.
  • Submit truthfully and accurately all application data.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Level 6 qualification (e.g., bachelor's degree BA/BSc, NVQ level 6, ordinary degree without honours) or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate in management or equivalent level 4 qualification.
Experience
  • Management/leadership experience including formal and informal HR processes.
  • Handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Intermediate level financial system experience (e.g., Agresso) and budgeting.
  • Project management and evaluation experience.
Knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Design and development of standard and bespoke data reports.
  • Understanding of health and social care sector, NHS structures, policies and processes.
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Accurate minute taking.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills across diverse people and levels.
  • Ability to concentrate and manage frequent interruptions.
Personal Attributes
  • Sound judgement and logical problem solving, using initiative.
  • Full UK/EU driving licence.
  • Ability to handle distressing or emotional situations with emotional intelligence.

Additional Requirements
  • Knowledge of Childhood Immunisation Programme and Hepatitis B Programme.
  • Knowledge of Child Health Information Service data analysis.
