Thank you for your interest in undertaking a voluntary role in governance at Sythwood Primary School. We are seeking to strengthen the range of skills and experience within our governing body. Experience in education is welcomed, but not essential. Sythwood Primary School is a popular 2-form entry school in Woking, Surrey and a proud member of Bourne Education Trust. We adhere to the principle that every child matters and that all children have the right to enjoy and achieve to the best of their ability in a safe, happy and secure learning environment.

Responsibilities and commitments:

• Attending full LGC meetings (4-6 per year)
• Potentially serving on review panels (as required)
• Completing any training relevant to the role
• Termly monitoring visits, to take place during the school day
