Assistant Governor Services Manager - Governance Oversight

Permanent

Grade 5 - £42,839 - £51,356

Working 36.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about improving school governance and supporting educational outcomes? Birmingham City Council is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Governor Services team as an Assistant Governor Services Manager - Governance Oversight.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and management of systems to monitor and assess governance quality in maintained schools and academies
  • Oversee data integrity and reporting on governing body membership and training
  • Support strategic interventions and contribute to high-level reports for senior officers and elected members
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective governance oversight and compliance
