OVERVIEW The University of Exeter is recruiting a Global Opportunities Support Officer (Outbound) to provide support for students participating in study abroad programmes. This full-time permanent role is available immediately and focuses on delivering high-quality administrative support throughout the outbound mobility process. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for student enquiries while working closely with colleagues across the University to help maintain an effective and positive abroad experience.
Key responsibilities- Support students throughout their study abroad journey
- Act as a primary point of contact for outbound mobility programmes
- Provide guidance and accurate information to students
- Deliver high-quality administrative support from recruitment through to departure
- Maintain student records and documentation
- Coordinate communications related to outbound programmes
- Assist with events connected to global opportunities activities
- Help ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently
- Work closely with colleagues across the University to enhance the student experience
- Highly organised and proactive approach to work
- Able to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in administrative support
- Experience with record keeping and process improvement
- Experience using digital tools including Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS This role contributes to the effective delivery of study abroad opportunities by ensuring students receive consistent support and accurate information throughout the outbound process.
