Global Medical Safety Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Medical Safety Lead to join our Global Patient Safety (GPS) team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the safety strategy and benefit-risk management for one or more of our innovative products, working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic medical safety leadership for assigned product(s) throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead safety signal detection, aggregate data review, and benefit-risk assessments.
• Oversee the preparation and review of safety sections in regulatory submissions (e.g., PSURs, DSURs, ISS, SCS).
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development, and Medical Affairs to align safety communications.
• Represent safety in interactions with regulatory authorities, advisory boards, and internal governance bodies.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of safety governance frameworks and SOPs.
• Support audits, inspections, and pharmacovigilance training initiatives.

Your Profile

• MD or equivalent medical degree required.
• 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with 5+ years in pharmacovigilance or drug safety.
• Proven expertise in medical assessment of safety data and regulatory documentation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience in global safety regulations and benefit-risk management.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
