Our global end client is a world-leading company operating in over 100 countries and generating multi-billion-euro annual revenue. Known for engineering and manufacturing premium products that set the standard in their category, the company combines physical excellence with a direct customer model to deliver maximum impact.
We are now seeking a senior Technology leader to own and scale the company's global customer-facing platforms - spanning website, mobile, engagement tools, payments, and Back End infrastructure. This is a mission-critical IT leadership role at the intersection of platform architecture, digital commerce, and enterprise-scale performance for their digital activities that generate already more than 1bn EUR.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global architecture and engineering of all digital commerce and engagement platforms - including web portals, mobile apps, payment systems, and Back End infrastructure
- Build and lead a high-performing global team across engineering, DevOps, QA, and platform operations, integration, etc. (100+ FTE)
- Oversee technical implementation of tools such as product recommendation, order tracking, online service/support, and mobile application unification
- Define and deliver the global roadmap for Martech, CRM integration, analytics, personalization, and customer journey tracking
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Data teams to align platform delivery with business strategy
- Guarantee secure, scalable, and compliant operation of all customer-facing digital systems
Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or related is a plus
- Experience: 10+ years in digital technology leadership, with at least 5 years owning global-scale, customer-facing platforms including eCommerce systems and broader B2B and/or B2C digital platforms
- Deep experience with Back End architecture, cloud infrastructure, platform scalability, and enterprise DevOps
- Strong understanding of the digital commerce stack - from Back End services and APIs to Martech and engagement systems
- Proven ability to manage and scale large global technical teams in matrixed organizations
- Track record of aligning technology with commercial outcomes, including revenue enablement and customer engagement
- Strategic and hands-on - able to lead complex transformation and deliver measurable results
