Our client, a boutique long only asset manager, is looking to hire an Equity Analyst.

This role will involve generating and researching potential investment ideas. Working as part of a small, you will be working closely with a group of experienced fund managers and actively involved in the investment debate.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify investment opportunity through detailed company, sector and market analysis
• Construct financial models and financial analysis
• Develop and maintain investment idea generation screens
• Arrange and attend company meetings

Candidate Profile:

• Degree from a top tier university (no degree subject constraints)
• Relevant experience in the field of investing
• Genuine interest in and knowledge of financial markets
• Preferably working towards CFA or recently completed ACA qualification
• Strong numerical and analytical problem solving skills
• Confidence and skills to present own views and opinions
