The Global Director for Integrated Communication Planning is responsible for championing our Integrated Communication Planning (ICP) initiative, pivotal in growing powerful brands and competitive growth. This role is central to strengthening capabilities on integrating paid, owned, earned, and shopper channels and fostering collaboration between global and local marketing teams.

About you

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Accelerate roll-out of an effective ICP Process

Knowledge sharing and advocacy of the ICP:

  • Champion the ICP process within Danone, facilitating regular knowledge-sharing sessions of the ICP process.
  • Develop ICP case studies to be shared on internal platforms to maintain momentum and accelerate learning across marketing/brand teams.
  • Ongoing tracking of ICP performance - identifying what is working and what is not; optimizing as we move through the sprints on global brands.

Managerial Complexity

  • Management of two communication planning experts.
  • High level of exposure to global and local senior marketing leadership and a multitude of internal & external stakeholders (external network of agencies).

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Educate and drive continued awareness/momentum for the Danone ICP process across the marketing organization.
  • Run the ICP process across global brands and in partnership with local brand teams, transitioning from brand campaigns to a brand ecosystem approach.
  • Coordinate IBC experts, as well as other teams (digital owned platform teams and shopper), to work cohesively.
  • Run workshops across global and local brands, delivering internal train-the-trainer sessions.

  • Global Category/Brand leads, local Marketing/Media Leads.
  • SVP Marketing Strategic Planning & Capabilities.

  • ICP process design, roll-out, and adoption.
  • Coverage of ICP sprints across Top 19 brands.
  • Upskilled global/local brand teams (measured by Danone's skills).

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Proven success in driving & upskilling marketing teams on effective integrated communications planning at both global and local levels.
  • Digital strategy & technical skills; experience in building online brand ecosystems across paid, owned & earned media.
  • Strong influencing & interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in working in a cross-functional setup with both global & local teams.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Master's degree and a minimum of 15 years of experience in Integrated Communications Planning roles, ideally in a combination of agency and advertiser environments.
