Global Credit Research Analyst

A prestigious asset manager based in the City has an excellent opportunity for a credit analyst to join the fixed income team. The successful candidate will cover mostly investment grade and high yield issuers in the Communication sector.

The main responsibilities include:

1. Undertake fundamental credit analysis on North American and European companies in the Communication sector
2. Evaluate proposed investments and make recommendations to portfolio managers
3. Attend industry events and conferences
4. Contribute to wider fixed income investment meetings

The successful candidate will have:

1. 2-5 years relevant experience working within corporate credit analysis on the buy-side, sell-side or ratings agency
2. Experience covering the Communication or Media sector is ideal, but not essential
3. Preferably working towards CFA accreditation
4. Strong interpersonal skills
