Geography Teacher - Hertfordshire - Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £53,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Interaction Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher. This is a full time, permanent position offering the opportunity to join a supportive and forward thinking humanities department.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and high quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of geography
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Geography at secondary school level in the UK.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
