Geography Teacher Job - Maternity Cover
Start: September 2025End: May 2026 Timetable: Full-Time Long-Term
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a full-time and long-term job covering maternity.
We are looking for somebody who has relevant experience working with 11 - 16-year-olds within the last 2 years. Predominantly teaching Geography.
Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging geography lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Predominantly teaching Geography

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in geography or a related field

QTS Certificate

Proven experience teaching Geography or Humanities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.

Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
