Generative AI Artist
Posted 4 hours 21 minutes ago by UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS LONDON
Fixed Term - 12 months
We're looking for a Generative AI Artist to join the Fashion Innovation Agency (FIA) at London College of Fashion, where you'll explore how emerging AI tools can redefine creativity across fashion and design.
In this role, you'll experiment with generative tools such as MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL E, Runway, Kaiber, Pika - combining them with original creative inputs (such as photography, sketches, textile scans or video) to produce compelling and distinctive outcomes.
Collaborating with designers, technologists, and researchers, you'll create high-impact content for presentations, exhibitions, and client projects, helping FIA demonstrate the creative potential of AI and strengthen its position as a global leader in fashion-tech innovation.
Please submit a CV and portfolio of your work. These must be anonymous as we operate a blind recruitment process.
About you
You'll bring a strong creative practice grounded in the use of generative AI tools (e.g. MidJourney, Stable Diffusion, DALL E, Runway, Kaiber, Pika, ComfyUI), combined with an experimental approach to image-making and visual storytelling.
Experience blending AI outputs with your own photography, illustration, or video is key, and familiarity with 3D or immersive tools like Blender, Unreal, or CLO3D would be a real advantage.
We're looking for someone imaginative, curious, and collaborative. We want someone able to translate technical innovation into bold visual work, share ideas with diverse creative teams, and help shape FIA's next wave of AI-driven projects.
