GSL Education are looking for a reliable General Teaching Assistant to work within schools in Selby.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teaching and learning


• Assist pupils with classwork and activities


• Support teachers with lesson preparation


• Work with individuals and small groups

Requirements

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work well within a team


• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply


• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and the ability to satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service
