Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality clinical care to patients registered and attending the GP surgery and support the delivery of the surgery's operational plan.
• Maintain practice standards, participate in clinical governance activities, and contribute to QOF, CQC, and other quality metrics.
• Provide clinical care as per the job plan, including consultations (in person and by video), telephone triage, correspondence, results, medication reviews, prescription signing, safeguarding lead duties, medicals, reports, home visits, surgery meetings and on call (excluding out of hours).
• Adhere to the highest personal and professional standards set out by the GMC and prioritize individual patient care.
• Work with the Practice Manager and site clinical lead to develop, deliver and review the surgery action plan, covering list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource profile and cost management.

Ideal Candidate

• Current registration with the GMC and NHS performers list and regular clinical engagement.
• Experienced doctor with GP accreditation - MRCGP examination or equivalent.
• Clear commitment to delivering quality and patient focused services.
• Sound knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, CQUINs and appropriate coding.
• Working knowledge of clinical systems such as SystmOne or EMISweb.

Package

• Annual salary of up to £112,500 depending on experience (plus £11,000 per session for newly qualified GPs).
