A little bit about us
Morlais Health is a large training practice in Merthyr Tydfil led by a young, dynamic team of Partners. We have a supportive working environment with formal mentoring offered to our Salaried GPs. We regularly hold in-house CPD/Clinical Governance and Palliative Care meetings.
Main duties of the job7 GP Partners, 8 Salaried GPs and 1GP Retainer
5 Practice Nurses, including an independent prescriber
Clinical Pharmacist independent prescriber
HCA-led Chronic Disease Management Clinics
Direct access physiotherapy every day
Advanced workflow trained admin staff, no Docman for salaried GPs
Dedicated Prescribing Team for patient prescription queries and repeat requests
Named mentor for all Salaried GPs
A GP Partner is also Chair of the LMC
About usWe are one of the largest GP practices in Wales serving over 25,500 patients across three sites. We have a great team of 7 partners, 10 salaried GPs, 6 nurses, 4 HCAs and a clinical pharmacist. We have first contact physio every day.

Our Services
We offer many enhanced services include minor operations, joint injections, coils and implants, shared care prescribing, DOAC initiation and monitoring, Warfarin initiation and monitoring, insulin/injectable initiation and monitoring, drug and alcohol misuse.
Sessions rate: £350 per session
