Job Description
What You Will Do

The successful candidate will report to the Process Working Team Leader and will perform the intermediate processing and finishing of heat exchanger assemblies, including conversion coating, degreasing, cleanliness testing, curing/drying, and mechanical preparation. The role requires flexibility to work night shifts and other rotating shift patterns.

Responsibilities
  • Conversion coat heat exchangers in the chemical process shop according to standard operating procedures.
  • Operate and maintain the effluent plant to ensure compliance with discharge consent license.
  • Degrease heat exchangers using aqueous or solvent cleaning equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform cleanliness tests on heat exchangers according to SOP.
  • Conduct oven curing or vacuum drying in accordance with SOP.
  • Mechanical preparation of heat exchangers using bead blast equipment or portable hand tools per SOP.
  • Perform daily use checks and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on all process equipment.
  • Work within NADCAP Chemical Processing procedures.
Shifts

Morning: 6:00AM-1:45PM (Mon-Thu) and 6:00AM-12:00PM (Fri). Afternoon: 2:00PM-10:00PM (Mon-Thu) and 12:15PM-5:15PM (Fri). The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a chemical process operator, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, is preferred though training will be provided. Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision to meet quality standards are essential. Previous experience with NADCAP standards is a plus.

Security clearance may be required to access export controlled information and hardware. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory security checks, export license approval, and, if applicable, completion of a non disclosure agreement.
