General Operative (Caretaking and Grounds)

The Royal School, Armagh is seeking to appoint a General Operative to support the day to day caretaking, maintenance and grounds duties across the school site.

This practical, hands on role involves helping to ensure the school environment is safe, clean and well maintained, including basic repairs, room set ups, grounds maintenance and monitoring site facilities. The postholder will work closely with staff and contractors, contributing to the smooth running of school activities and events throughout the year.

Applicants should be reliable, proactive and able to work independently, with experience in caretaking, maintenance, grounds work or a similar practical role. The position is available on a full time or part time (seasonal) basis, with occasional early morning, evening or weekend work required.
