General Manager, Full Time, Permanent

We are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic General Manager to support leading and inspiring our team in our Goodness Staple Hill restaurant in Trago Devon. This is a full time role for 39 hours per week and is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Our restaurant is open every day of the week from 9am 4pm, however working hours for the role are 8am 5pm. The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours, across all seven days including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance, achieving an EHO rating of 5. Complete risk assessments and internal audits (health, safety, fire, brand standards).
• Lead team through product launches and new initiatives. Stay competitive by monitoring local trends.
• Recruit, develop, and retain staff. Lead multiple shift teams to achieve performance goals through effective communication and motivation.
• Ensure engaging product displays and availability. Support product knowledge for upselling and customer service.
• Manage customer demand, deliver top notch service, handle complaints, and provide continuous service training.

Requirements

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• The ability to monitor, manage and improve KPIs.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
