We're looking for a General Manager for a seasonal carvery pub in Cleethorpes. Salary up to £50,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

The Trawlerman boasts a seaside location in the holiday town of Cleethorpes, within walking distance of two holiday parks and just a stone's throw from the seafront. It is a highly seasonal business that trades at an average of £30,000 per week in net sales, with a 65/35 sales mix favouring food. Carvery is available every day and is a key feature for Sunday lunch. The pub has strong potential to develop further as a family dining destination and hosts occasional family focused events.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a high performing team, driving engagement and performance.
- Be accountable for managing all aspects of the pub, ensuring profitability and exceptional customer experience.
- Drive sales and growth initiatives, thinking creatively to increase revenue.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive work environment and celebrate successes.
- Manage seasonal trade, scaling operations effectively between summer and winter periods.
- Prior experience as a General Manager in a pub or hospitality setting.
- Experience with carvery operations is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage with the local community and build relationships throughout the year.
- Knowledge or experience managing a seasonal business is an advantage.
